Winners - The 11th Florever Preserved Flower Contest 2016
The art of preserved flower arrangement was developed in Japan and has evolved dramatically since the first preserved flower contest in 2003. This is our 11th opportunity to showcase some of the most creative designs throughout the country. Each year designers, both professional and amateur, continue to surprise us with their innovative ideas and inventive ways of using preserved flowers.
Sponsored by the Embassy of Colombia, the event aims to promote the beauty of preserved flowers. Preserved flowers are becoming increasingly popular abroad as well as in Japan. In fact, five percent of this year's participants are from overseas. Our panel of judges has selected 75 arrangements to exhibit at Mitsukoshi.
Thanks to everyone who applied enjoyable and admirable artworks.
